Co-founder, Brown Box Works

In 2012, while still a student at NC A&T State University, I co-founded Brown Box Works — a mobile application company built from scratch. We weren't waiting for permission.

We built real products, shipped real software, and landed real press coverage. PBS and Yes Weekly covered our work.

Six years of building taught me more about product, users, and persistence than any curriculum could. It also made me obsessively curious about what technology could do next.
